What happens when it rains or in extreme sun?
We never cancel our sessions and will always look after the children for the whole duration of the course hours. We endeavour to keep the children out and playing as much as possible, so often continue through showers and light drizzle. On the occasions we have to take the children off the ground for health and safety reasons, we bring them into our lovely pavilion, where we look to entertain them with children’s DVDs, cricket on the TV, quiz’s and some cricket theory for the slightly older ones. In our experience of running these courses, we never get stuck inside for too long.
In sunny conditions there will be numerous water breaks and we do have gazebos for shade erected around the grounds.
Can girls attend your course?
Our courses are designed in such a way to cater for all abilities, and we positively encourage the attendance of girls. We also have strong links with Ealing CC in actively getting girls to take up the game seriously.
Ealing CC currently runs teams for Under 11 Girls, Under 13 Girls and Under 15 Girls and are also the holders of The Middlesex Women’s Championship Trophy – the Ealing Ladies’ team were the winners of the very first Championship competition.
What clothing does my child need to wear?
We have no strict dress code for our courses; we do however recommend that you dress your child in sports clothing to match the weather forecast ensuring they have comfortable footwear. In Sunny weather, please remember a Cap or Sun-hat is ideal. We also ask the children have sunscreen applied prior to arrival… and to bring extra for very sunny conditions.
Please can children bring a refillable water bottle with them.
What happens for lunch?
We do not provide lunches. We recommend either sending your child along with a packed lunch, or there is a tuck shop that sells sandwiches, chips, toasties, drinks etc.
What equipment will my child need to bring with them?
If you child is booked to do soft ball cricket, then we will provide all the equipment they will need. Any child booked on to do incrediball cricket or hardball cricket, will require as a minimum a box and helmet. These pieces of kit are very personal and for complete safety a secure fit is essential.
What is the age range for the children that attend your courses?
We accept children from the age of 5*-14 years of age for holiday camps(*6 14 for Easter and May Half Term Camps). For more able cricketers between the ages of 8-15 years we will run Masterclasses in the summer holidays covering include batting, spin bowling, seam bowling and ‘wicket-keeping and fielding’.
Where can we look for lost property?
Any equipment or clothing, found left at the end of each day, will get placed in two huge green plastic boxes within the ground.

What is your drop off and collection policy?
Premier Cricket Coaching’s duty of care for your child starts from the moment you enter Ealing Cricket Clubs grounds. We start at 10 am; however we have no problem with dropping your child off for some free play, 15 minutes before the start. Our coaching staff will be on hand to supervise from 9:30 am. Come 4:30 pm and the end of our day, we ensure that every child leaves the ground with a parent/guardian. If you wish to collect your child early, we just ask to make their team leader aware and if you want for them to travel home alone, then send us either an email or send your child with a note.
Can you book random days?
We are more than happy for you to book your child on to the odd days (subject to availability), as we are aware people cannot always commit to the full four days of our courses. The prices for different days are all stated on our course forms.
Do the sessions focus mainly on cricket or is there an element of multi sport and general skills to the sessions too?
They would play other activities that can be associated to cricket so they are developing core cricketing skills in other ways to keep the children going throughout the day.
